THE PROCESS

Recruitment

All of our consignment boutique, vintage boutique and private collector partners are recruited via invitation and application only.

Verification

We personally interview each applicant to ensure they share Gestreon’s values.

If so, we verify the business status, customer reviews and track records of each applicant, and monitor the quality of new inventory over a period of THREE months before beginning the onboarding process.

Authentication

A minimum of FIVE years of experience in fashion curation, sourcing and authentication is required to sell preloved or vintage items on Gestreon. In addition to human authentication, our partners use AI technologies to double authenticate their products. Our seller partners confirm the authenticity for each product, or your money back guaranteed.

Quality control

We review and inspect all products via photo, video and partner feedback before listing. When necessary, we physically visit partner boutiques to inspect products. Our in-house data scientists collect millions of datapoints and analyse thousands of designs to help us detect suspisious listings and address issues before they arise.

Buyer Protection

We have a zero tolerance policy for counterfeited goods. In the unlikely event your product is found to be fake, you will receive a full refund and the seller will immediately be removed from our network.

If your order arrives and the product is defective or not as described, you have 14 days to initiate a return and receive your money back.
